My heart goes out to all the victims of the terrorist attack in Las Vegas. May the dead rest in peace and the injured recover quickly, though I know the psychological scars will remain a long time if not forever. I hope that we as a country come together to do what we have to to prevent another attack like this, but I know many won’t. To some people, its always too early to talk about gun control, even before the next attack. It’s sad and disappointing. If 20 kids being slaughtered in their school doesn’t do shit, then I believe nothing will. Some American love their fucking guns more than other peoples lives. Its sick and twisted. America needs to do better. Humanity needs to do better…
It’s been a rough week in more ways than one. My emotions have been up and down. If you know me, then you know why. If not, then I’ll explain next week. I’ll be back Monday with a fresh start.
WATCH LAST FEW MINUTES OF THIS VIDEO. REBELUTIONARY_Z WAS ARRESTED BY STL POLICE BUT MANAGED TO RECORD LIVE POLICE BRUTALITY ON UNARMED PROTESTERS AND BYSTANDERS. IF YOU STILL SUPPORT THE POLICE WITHOUT QUESTION AFTER THIS (WHICH YOU SHOULD NOT BE ANYWAYS), SHAME ON YOU! THESE PEOPLE WERE PEACEFUL AND NOT DOING ANYTHING EXCEPT STANDING AROUND. AGAIN, RECORDED LIVE BY REBELUTIONARY_Z.

It’s been a rough couple of weeks. This week coming up should be better, so I’ll have some new posts up soon. The 16th was my birthday, 33 now and feel old as hell. Even my kids tell me I’m old lol. But yea, be back tomorrow. Peace and love ✌❤💙💚💛💜
The past two weeks have been nonstop whirlwind. We had to drive to NYC (Bronx) twice in two weeks. My wife’s grandfather was in the hospital dying and she went to visit him. Then two days after we came back he passed away. Then we had to go up there again for the funeral. It was unbelievably sad and reminded me of my grandfather’s funeral. R.I.P. to my wife’s grandfather. But I love my wife’s Jamaican family for having me a part of their family.
We came back and now there’s a hurricane coming. We live in Augusta, Georgia which is on the Georgia/South Carolina border. It’s forecasted to come up into this area, and people have gone crazy. Gas is running out, food and water is short or out, and traffic is crazy. The gas station down our road had only premium gas which was about $3 per gallon, or diesel. Other stations in the area are completely out.
In all my 20+ years living in Savannah and Augusta, I’ve never seen anything like this. The madness, the craziness, human nature getting the best of us. My wife finally got water after going to 5 stores, and they were only allowing 5 cases per household. She told me that the guy behind her in line had a big cart full of bread. WTF do you need a cart of bread for? I know nobody that eats that much bread.
We’ll be ok. We’re prepared for anything. My kids are scared but excited. They have 3 days off school also due to the storm and evacuees up here. My biggest worry is the power going out and the big tree next to our house that was already damaged from an ice storm a few years ago.
My heart goes out to those who have already been affected by Hurricane Irma and all the people in its path.
DEXYS MIDNIGHT RUNNERS “COME ON EILEEN” 1982 Genre: New Wave/ Celtic soul/ Pop/ Blue-eyed soul (UK)
One of my favorite movies of all time, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, has one of the best and heartwarming scenes in any movie with Come on Eileen playing, the living room routine.
I haven’t posted in a few days because I’ve been out of town for a family emergency my wife had. I’m in NYC right now but if I was home in Augusta, Georgia I would have seen 99.27% coverage. My 3 kids are staying with my parents and saw it. They were so excited. As such, I was able to see some of the eclipse. I was able to take some pretty cool pics with my smartphone. It was kind of cloudy, but it did help to see the sun a little better. Enjoy the eclipse from NYC.
